Drugstore Makeup Hurl ♡

♥︎ Face ♥︎

Rimmel Wake Me up in 030 Classic Beige - This concealer has very quickly become one of my favourites. It's not crazy high coverage like the Collection lasting perfection, I'd say it's around medium coverage but it blends out very very easily and is very dewy and looks extremely natural under your eyes. It's also the first concealer I've ever used that has actually matched my skin tone, so if you have light yellow undertoned skin like me, this is perfect!

Maybelline Fit-Me in Medium Pink - This blush is well pigmented, blends well and gives a nice flush of colour. The colour I have in this is also perfect for those of you going into spring and summer.

Rimmel Stay Matte in 001 Transparent - This was a repurchase from me as my other one was not only almost used up, but also completely ruined as I dropped it on the floor and it smashed (oops). This powder is my holy grail, it's very finely milled and doesn't look cakey, it keeps me matte for the school day without needing to top up and it even smells delicious haha :)

♥︎ Eyes ♥︎

Maybelline Colour Tattoo in 05 Too Cool and 55 Inked in Pink - I've had colour tattoos before and I've loved them so I decided to get more. They're great as a base under other colours, or even on their own. They last for ages as the name would suggest, are easy to work with and blend and the colours are absolutely stunning

NYC Trio Eyeshadow in 781 Long Beach Sands - All the colours in this trio are shimmery, and they're super pigmented, I have found that they are however slightly powdery but it's nothing that you can't work with with some good tools

Art Deco single eyeshadows in 554 and 530 - Both shades I've picked up are mattes and they're both super pigmented and easy to blend and buttery and all that good stuff. I can't really fault them, they're brilliant. Their casing is also magnetic so you can stick them into Z palettes.

LA.Girl Glide Gel Liner in very black - This glides on without any tugging or problems and it's crazy pigmented. I bought it mainly cus it says it's a gel which made me think that it would last in my tightline and waterline much longer, and I'm not sure if it's a placebo or not but I'm pretty sure that it lasts longer than any of the other eyeliners I've tried putting in my waterline haha

Kingdom Liquid Eyeliner - My mom bought me this from Japan and it's pen shape makes it super easy to work with. The liner flows out soooo well and it applies super easily as well. It's one of the easiest liquid liners I've ever used, I'd highly recommend this and I'm gonna be very sad when it runs out :(

Have you guys tried any of these? Let me know your thoughts!

End of Summer Clothing Haul ♡

I recently found these photos of a clothing haul from around December that I was meant to a blog post on but must've forgotten to haha, so here they are, 4 months later :P

These playsuits are both from Boohoo and I got them for $12 each I believe. They're both a similar style, they have a low back and a v-neck at the front. They're both super duper flowly and loose and are made out of the comfiest material ever! I've worn these out heaps and they're just so comfy and easy to wear. The top one is plain black and the bottom one is white with little strawberries on it. Both are in size 6.

With the strawberry playsuit, I'm also wearing my white cardigan which is from Glassons and I believe they're still selling them.

(PS. Sorry for the photo quality on the second strawberry playsuit photo!)
_____________________________________________________

As you can see, I have an ever so slight playsuit obsession. This one I got from Supré and it's a simple grey playsuit with a wrap at the front. It comes in slightly around the waist but is still quite loose and comfy. I thought it would look really over a bikini or to go to the beach with (not that I ever go to the beach, but one can dream haha)

This shirt I got for my mom since we're both unhealthily obsessed with the Big Bang Theory, but it was so cute I just had to put it on here. I tied it up on the side since it was really big on me and I wore them with my ripped shorts that I got ages ago from Supré, and the shirt is from Jayjays

This dress was from Factorie and it's a skater dress so it hugs your top half and then flares out. It's light blue with little white flowers on them and I just thought that it was soooo cute. This dress also looks great with the cardigan that I got. I don't know why I'm covering my body so much in this photo, so sorry that you can't really see anything haha :/
I'm wearing this dress with a flower crown that I picked up from Jayjays

Here's a more close up photo of the flower crown, I am absolutely obsessed with it. It has little leaves and white flowers it fits perfectly. I have an absolutely tiny little pea head but I've found that most of the headbands from Jayjays fit me really really well, so if you have a little pea head like me go to Jayjays to look for some stuff, I find they fit super well :)

So um actually, I splurged again on clothes last week since me and my two best friends went shopping together so I have another clothing haul coming up very soon, but I stumbled upon these photos the other day so I decided to put these up first haha. Whoops.

2014 Holy Grails ♡

It's crazy to think that 2014 is over, but it was one of the best years of my entire life and I want this year to be ever more full of laughs and memories so that when I'm old and have thirty grand children I can tell them that I had the best teenage years ever! :P

I've used a lot of products throughout the year but there are some that have definitely stuck out to me more than others, stuff that I've always gone back to and always have in my collection, in other words my holy grails haha

Foundation - Revlon Nearly Naked. It's very liquidy and easy to blend and gives low-medium coverage, which I like. It looks very very natural on the skin and if you're looking for a low coverage foundation I would definitely recommend this

Concealer - Collection Lasting Perfection. I cannot say enough good things about this. This is very very high coverage so it's perfect for your worst spots or dark under eye circles and it lasts for aaaages! I've also swum with this on and found that it's actually waterproof as well :)

Blush - Nyx Cream Blush in Rose Petal. Shannon from shaaanxo on YouTube raved about these a while back and said she prefers the Nyx cream blushes to the Mac ones. I've never tried the Mac ones but I agree that these are incredible! I can't really fault this product, it's just incredible

Powder - Rimmel Stay Matte. Everyone has raved about this powder at one point or another, it's lightweight and finely milled and just does the job wonderfully. It even smells delicious haha

Eyebrows - Milani Brow-Fix. This was in my last haul and I mentioned how it might be my new holy grail eyebrow product. It is. Pigmented, stays on for ages, not powdery at all, if you like powder for your eyebrows you should definitely give this a whirl

Cream Eye shadow - Maybelline Colour tatoos. These have been a staple for me all year and I have two in my collection, Bad to the Bronze and Barely Branded. I tend to use Bad to the Bronze on a daily basis, usually on its own and I just smoke it out slightly. It's very pigmented, creamy, easy to blend and long lasting and looks very very pretty on it's own, or even as a base :)

Eye shadow - Wet n Wild Colour trio. Again, I can't fault these. These eyeshadows are just incredible. They're also really super cheap which is an added bonus and means you can buy ALL OF THEM!! I just love these eyeshadows to death, the one I have is in Walking on Eggshells

Eyeliner - Maybelline Eyestudio. This is the first gel eyeliner I've ever tried and I'm like completely converted now. It lasts sooo much longer than liquid eyeliner and it's not as difficult or scary to put on as I thought. If you've never tried a gel eyeliner I highly recommend them

Lipstick - Rimmel Kate Moss 107. These are slightly drying so I normally wear a chapstick under them first but they're mega mega pigmented, smell delicious and last ages (considering you don't eat haha)
L'Oreal Colour Riche in Make me Blush (left) and The Muse's Kiss (right). These are slightly glossy and smell SO GOOD. They're also well pigmented and also last decently :) The packaging is also really cute ... just saying haha

Brushes - BH cosmetics pink-a-dot brush set. I got these a while back and have absolutely fallen in love with them. They're ridiculously soft and haven't shed yet and most of the brushes in the collection are very dense and just very well made. In particular my staples from the set are the powder brush, blush brush, smudge brush (which I use for eyebrows) and the eyeshadow brush.
Real techniques duo-fibre collection (limited edition, sorry!).
I don't tend to use the other two in the collection but the contour brush I love! I don't actually use it for its intended purpose, I use it for concealer. I find it fits underneath my eyes perfectly and unlike brushes with dense bristles that just pack on the product the duo fibre just lightly pats it on and feathers it out ... I can't explain it, I've just found that this brush applies concealer like nothing else. It's also dirty in the picture, I know but I couldn't be bothered washing it just for the sake of this photo haha

Day moisturiser - Clinique moisture surge. I've raved about this before, it's very very liquidy and dissapears once it's on your face. It's also very moisturising and since it absorbs instantly, makeup is super easy to apply over it
Nivea Day cream. I use this instead of the Clinique when I'm gonna be outside since it has SPF30 in it and the Clinique doesn't have sunscreen. It's very moisturising although I prefer the Clinique cus the Nivea one doesn't absorb as quickly as the Clinique and sits on my skin for a while

Night moisturiser - Aveeno positively radiant. This is another new find for me but I absolutely love it. I've seen results from it that I haven't with other night creams I've tried. It feels like water and it absorbs very quickly and it's just incredible and every morning my skin feels sooooo super soft :)

Comment down below what your favourite parts of 2014 are! Beauty or otherwise :)

HUGE Collective Haul ♡

I've been shopping again ...
I need professional help

  ♡ MAKEUP

♡ Eyes

Miki - Smoky Blacks.
I found these eyeshadows very powdery but they blended out very beautifully and are super duper pigmented. They last really well if you put something underneath them as a base. They also have a super cheap price tag which makes me a very happy chappy haha :)

Milani Brow Fix Brow Kit - 03 Dark
Well pigmented, long lasting, great colour, overall fantastic. I find this suuuper duper easy to use and it's my current go-to eyebrow product.

Maybelline Eyestudio - Brown
Very well pigmented, lasts extremely well, has a semi matte finish and was quite easy to apply and blended out super well and all that good stuff. If you're on the hunt for a brown eyeliner I highly recommend this :)
Sorry for the change of background, not quite sure what
happened here haha

Loreál Colour Infallible - 036 Naughty Strawberry & 031 Innocent Turquoise
These eyeshadows are heavily raved about on Youtube and the interwebs and well so because they are incredible! They're soooo pigmented and they're super duper easy to blend. They leave a kind of satin finish on the eyes. They look so pretty and they're so gorgeous and ahhh - they're amazing! The only thing that some people might think is a negative is the smell (if you have some of these, you know exactly what I mean). But they're on your eyeballs so it doesn't make much of a difference anyway haha :P

Loreál 16hr Infallible Eyeliner - Black
This eyeliner is my new favourite. It's super duper creamy and glides on like an absolute dream. It's really pigmented and as the name suggests, it lasts a long time as well and doesn't vanish after an hour like my Maybelline one. I'm not sure what the white thing on the other end of it's for ... if you know let me know in the comments! :)

♡ Lips ♡

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balmstain -005 Crush Begun
This balmstain is glossy, decently pigmented, ridiculously easy to apply because of the pen format of the stick, doesn't really taste of anything and long lasting cus it stains your lips once it starts to wear off. Possibly the only flaw is the smell. But the quality of the actual product makes the smell worth putting up with.

Loreál Colour Riche - 250 Make me Blush
This lipstick smells like candy and heaven. Sometimes I just sit down and sniff it, it smells SO GOOD! It's also very very pigmented and creamy and lasts for a fairly decent times and is almost matte on the lips. I'm also obsessed with the colour and it's perfect for everything.

Loreál Colour Riche Runway Collection - 680 The Muses Kiss

This has the same scent but not as strong, but has the exact same formula as the lipstick above ^^ Much love for this lipstick <3

Maybelline Colour Whisper - 290 Strike a Rose & 305 Red Around Town
These are quite sheer as the name would suggest so it just depends what you're after. They're glossy and last well and smell delicious :)

Maybelline Colour Sensational (Limited Editon, sorry!) - 1000 Lavender Voltage
This is semi-matte but crazy pigmented! It also lasts ages and even though it's not very creamy it's not uncomfortable to put on or wear at all. It also doesn't have a distinct taste or smell and I would highly recommend these if you're into bolder colours :) Out of all the lipsticks this one is the most drying though, but it's not a problem if you put a chapstick on first :)

♡ Nails

Revlon Colourstay - 310 Vintage Rose

Revlon nailpolishes are my favourite so when I saw this new shade I instantly grabbed it. I was not dissapointed. Pigmented, glossy, long lasting, easy to apply, quick drying just greatness.

Sally Hansen Sugar Coat - 600 Sour Apple
These might be my new obsession. Super fast drying, pigmented, matte and the coolest thing about these is that once they dry they feel like sugar!

Revlon - Temptress 168
This is the perfected Barbie pink colour! I wasn't ready for how pigmented this is, you can leave it at one coat, it's that crazy. Again, last very well but I did find it took a little bit longer to dry and less glossy than the Colourstays but still love it! :)

NYC Long Wearing Nail Enamel - 152 Tudor City Teal
This isn't as long wearing as I expected it to be, it chipped quite quicky. Dries fairly quickly, less pigmented than the Revlon or Sally Hansen but it's still fairly decent. But if you're patient and careful enough the colours really pretty and fairly glossy :)

♡ Beauty ♡

Aveeno Postively Radiant Intensive Night
I've only used this a few times but I can already tell I'm gonna love it. It's very liquidy and sinks in immediately. I also wake up with super soft skin and I'm already in love with it. New staple alert ...

Number 7 Lift and Illuminate Eye Cream
Another product that I've only used a few times, it's a creamy consistency but sinks in real quick. I haven't noticed anything yet using this, but I'll keep you guys updated :)

 ♡ Clothing ♡

I made another order on Boohoo and I got this swing dress, I don't think there's any left now though (sorry again..) This is the same style dress as one I bought last time and I'm in love with it. It's super duper nice fabric and flows sooo beautifully and twirls when you spin around. It also fits me perfectly and it's super cute and great to throw on for a day out :)

I also got another dress (well, playsuit actually) and I was completely obsessed with it and wore it everyday for maybe a week after receiving it which maybe was the reason why I stained it. I still have photos of the playsuit but it has stains on it so I didn't include them. The fabric was thin but opaque and soft and comfy and perfect and I got in grey so it was perfect for everyday wear and it was perfect in every way. And then I stained it. Ah, the struggle :(

If you guys have read all of this then hats off to you sir, well done.
Sorry for all the word vomit, there was just so much stuff haha :P
Give me requests for what you'd like to see next from me! Thanks xx

Ciao xx

Empties #1 ♡

I had accumulated a small pile of stuff I had used up lately, so I thought I should share my experiences with them to you guys haha :)

Nivea Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes for dry & sensitive skin

I got these makeup wipes because I was in desperate need of some as my other ones had run out, and these were on sale. They did the job and got all of my makeup off but I found that they stung my face a little bit after I used them - even though this is targeted for dry and sensitive skin. I wouldn't repurchase them but they did the job :)

Pams nail polish remover, Batiste dry shampoo - Original scent

The Pams nail polish remover worked perfectly for me and got my nail polish off super duper well without much effort on my part. It's super cheap and super good, if you live in New Zealand you can pick this up from New World for super cheap too :)
I have talked about this dry shampoo on my blog before, I loved it, it did a good job, it smelt nice (in my opinion anyway, most of my friends hated it haha) and I definitely would recommend this

Nivea pure & natural regenerating night cream for all skin types, the Falsies
volum express flared mascara, Maybelline Masterliner in black

The Nivea moisturiser quickly became my staple and my holy grail. It wasn't greasy, it absorbed very quickly, smelt good, did a faboosh job of keeping my skin hydrated and it was just very very good. If you're looking for a new night cream you should totally give this one a try!
The falsies is my all time favourite mascara. It gives lenght and volume and just makes my lases look awesome! I've already repurchased this haha

I have mixed feelings about this eyeliner. I use it for my tightline and waterline and it's very creamy and pigmented and glides on like a dream ... but it fades after a while (I'm guessing it's not waterproof). I find that after about an hour it's mostly faded away, but it's very creamy and easy to apply so it might be worth it?

Let me know in the comments what your favourite eyeliner is!
 Thanks! :) x

Ciao! xx

Clinique Moisture Surge Moisturiser - Review ♡

I got this moisturiser a few months ago and I've been meaning to make this post for a while now because I love this moisturiser SO MUCH!

The moisturiser is very liquidy and feels very water based. It sinks into my skin INSTANTLY and  I can't feel it on my skin at all after it sinks in. It's not greasy or oily in the slightest. A little bit goes a very long way because it's so liquidy. It doesn't really smell of anything either and makeup applies really well over it cus it sinks in so fast that it doesn't get in the way of the foundation.
It's super moisturising and after I apply it any dry patches on my face feel instantly hydrated, and my skin always feels incredibly soft after applying this.
This moisturiser is a little bit of a pricier one but if you're after a super quick and effective moisturiser then this is an incredible one to go for, and I'll definitely be re purchasing this after it runs out!

Let me know your favourite moisturisers in the comments :) x

Lush Haul ♡

Here's some awesome goodies I picked up from Lush a while ago
Note : I bought these items 2 months ago before their christmas collection came out so that's why there's none of them in here, otherwise I would've had a much larger splurge haha

That heart isn't a lush product by the way, it was just something I put there haha :)
You've Been Mangoed Bath Melt. I got this cus I had never tried a lush bath melt and I was really intrigued by them. This bath melt is definitely not one for night time, it smells like lime and lemon grass and it's very refreshing. I used it in a morning bath and it smelt soooo good and definitely left my skin feeling super soft :)
Sunny Side Bubble Bar. This is also a citrussy one and it makes heaps and heaps of bubbles. I found this super refreshing and it makes your bath water go sparkly golden orange so it's quite a messy one as it'll leave glitter around your bath haha.
Sex Bomb Bath Bomb. Haha yes, it's a funny name but don't let this fool you. This bomb is incredible. It turns the water pink and smells like absolute heaven. It smells like roses and something else I can't quite put my finger on. It's one of my all time favourites from lush
Creamy Candy Bubble Bar. This has to be my favourite scent from lush. As the name suggests, it smells like creamy candy. It's delicious and I've been tempted to eat it on more than one occasion. It also has shea butter chunks in it so it's super duper moisturising as well
♥ Space Girl Bath Bomb. I've done a whole blog post about this with photos of the bomb in water and stuff, this is a close second favourite to Sex Bomb. It smells like blackcurrants and leaves your bath water looking incredible. Ugh I love this bomb soooo much

Hope this makes you guys wanna go into Lush and pick up a few goodies now haha :) Let me know what your favourites are in the comments!
